Dr. Patricia Gutiérrez Ontalvilla is a plastic surgeon specializing in vulvar pathology and regenerative medicine. Her research career on vulvar lichen sclerosus began in 2017 with the design of the clinical trial that would lead to the Liquenia® Treatment, in collaboration with La Fe University Hospital and La Fe Health Research Institute (IIS La Fe) in Valencia.
She is the President of the Nixarian Foundation, an entity through which she continues to develop research on VLS and other vulvar pathologies.
